Job Summary

The Assistant Manager, Guest Experience is a key member of the store leadership team, ensuring that every team member and every guest receives a quality experience. This role leads from the floor, builds and develops the team, and creates a culture where belonging, growth, and exceptional guest experience are the norm.

Core Responsibilities


  • Leadership and People Management
    • Create and foster a respectful and inclusive environment, celebrating differences.
    • Help team members understand how their work supports store and company success.
    • Implement the Store Managers People vision and cascade to the team.
    • Assist in hiring and building a diverse, high?performing team.
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous development check?ins.
    • Lead performance management, including feedback, rewards, documentation, and addressing concerns.
    • Address employee concerns and partner with internal support when needed.


  • Guest Experience and Community
    • Lead exceptional customer experience, assessing connection and product knowledge gaps.
    • Provide in?the?moment retail floor leadership to maintain efficiency and coverage.
    • Resolve guest feedback and handle escalations, ensuring make it right outcomes.


  • Operations, Product, and Strategy
    • Collaborate on business data reviews and planning processes.
    • Maintain product presentation and visual merchandising standards.
    • Open and close the store following procedures.
    • Adhere to safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
    • Operate in compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.


  • Budget Responsibility
    • Accountable for delegated aspects of controllable budget and labor hours.


  • People Management
    • Directly responsible for a subset of store employees as delegated by the Store Manager.

Job Requirements
  • Eligibility
    • Legally authorized to work in the country of the store.
    • Able to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation.


  • Schedule/Availability
    • Variable schedule: early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overnight shifts.


  • Experience
    • 1 year people management experience.
    • 1 year leadership experience, including managing business operations, administration, projects, or processes.


  • Job Assets (Nice to Have)
    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
    • 1 year retail or sales?specific management experience.
    • 1 year recruiting, hiring, or training experience.


  • Work Context
    • Bright lights and loud music environment.
    • Independent and team tasks, conflict mediation, and guest deescalation.
    • Building relationships with strangers/new people and community partners.
    • Use of computer or tech devices for virtual interaction.
    • Physical movement through store, occasional box lifting up to 30 lbs.





Compensation & Benefits Package
  • Base Pay Range: $23.19 - $31.38/hour, subject to local minimum wage.
  • Target Bonus: 25%
  • Total Target Base Pay Range: $28.99 - $39.23/hour
  • Eligibility for competitive bonus program.
