Calvary is one of the premier and larger daycares in the greater Yankton area. We are currently looking for a Daycare/Preschool Director.

The role you will play:
• Provide leadership to a team of staff providing childcare in a variety of settings.
• Work with our Daycare/Preschool Leadership Team to address issues and provide ongoing development to our ministries
• Be part of the vision development for our ministries to seek opportunities for growth and improvement.
Background Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combination of education and experience.
• 2 years minimum of Children’s Ministry experience.
• Ability work within the framework provided by the South Dakota Department of Social Services
• A background in administration/business would be helpful.
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• A relationship with Jesus Christ that is evident in attitude, demeanor, work ethic and how you lead people.
• Ability to embrace the vision and values of Calvary Baptist
• Ability hire, train, mentor, develop, evaluate and discipline staff as needed and appropriate.
• Strong personal relationship and communication skills are a must
• Possess the ability to work with other departments, church employees, and volunteers.
• Oversee the development and use of appropriate curriculums.
