Job Title: Material Handler – Data Center

Pay Rate: $23/hour
Shift: Starts on 1st Shift; must be comfortable transitioning to 2nd Shift

About the Role

We are seeking a Material Handler to join our dynamic Data Center operations team. This position is critical to ensuring smooth inventory flow and supporting the technical infrastructure of our facility. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy , enjoys working with computers, and has a proven track record of longevity in previous roles .

Responsibilities

• Handle and organize IT equipment, hardware, and related materials within the data center.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely movement of materials.
• Assist with basic computer-related tasks and equipment setup as needed.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to support workflow efficiency.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
• Strong interest in technology and comfort working around computer systems.
• Demonstrated stability and longevity in prior positions.
• Ability to lift and move equipment safely.
• Flexibility to start on first shift and transition to second shift as required.

Requirements:

• Strong technical/computer skills and ability to work with technology
• 3 months recent experience working in a distribution center or warehouse a plus
• Able to work 8, 10 or 12 hours shifts
• Able to carry, twist, push, pull products and lift up to 30 lbs
• Able to stand, walk and bend for the entire shift
• Experience working with technology – RF scanners, warehouse computers a plus
• Able to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Able to count accurately
