Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on night shifts requiring an active OH or compact license and recent permanent Med/Surg Tele experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Hospital setting on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours scheduled from 19:00 to 07:00
• Telemetry monitoring of med/surg patients
• Uses ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate platforms during orientation
• Requires working at least every other holiday
• Responsible for delivering care to adult patients with both medical and telemetry needs
• Assessment testing with PBDS is waived
• Staff are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements during the current exemption period
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return within 1 year from previous end date at Cleveland Clinic locations
• Fingerprints and badge pick-up must be completed onsite before start date
• Annual module training is required and tracked via Silkroad
• Extensions may be approved up to 18 months with a 6 month break required before re-assignment unless client-approved

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active permanent Ohio or compact RN license in hand
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be active
• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• One professional reference from a supervisor, ANM, manager or director in the specialty required
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing in orientation with acceptable scores
• No open background check cases or license hits accepted
• Negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start
